Welcome To Tajalli Tech Pvt Ltd

On-site dehydration, degassing and filtration that restores the dielectric strength of your transformer oil, without sending the transformer anywhere.

Tajalli Tech engineers running on-site transformer oil filtration

What we do

  • High-vacuum dehydration and degassing at your site
  • BDV and moisture testing before and after filtration
  • Hot-oil circulation to help dry a damp winding
  • Oil top-up, and supply of new oil to IS 335 where the old oil cannot be recovered
  • A test report with our recommendations

How it works

Moisture and dissolved gases lower the breakdown voltage of transformer oil. Our filtration machine heats the oil, pulls it through fine filters and holds it under high vacuum, which removes water, gas and particles. We circulate the oil until the BDV meets the limit for your transformer’s voltage class under IS 1866.

What you get

A report with the BDV and moisture readings before and after, the number of passes, and the condition of the oil. If the oil is chemically degraded beyond recovery, we tell you so and quote for replacement oil instead of filtering oil that cannot be saved.

Questions

Does the transformer have to be shut down? In many cases filtration can be done with the transformer in service. Where the oil is heavily degraded or the winding needs drying, a planned shutdown gives a better result. We advise after the first BDV test.

How often should oil be filtered? Test the BDV every year. Filter when the reading falls towards the limit for your voltage class, and always after an internal fault or a long period out of service.

When is new oil needed? When the oil has aged chemically and no longer responds to filtration. The test results decide it.
